Gerti (17:01) *nods and fussiness with zero modesty or words before washing her hands and face and redressing in the comparatively fancy clothes*
Eolenth (17:11) *Fancy by some standards. Compared to what a slave would wear, yes. It was a modest dress with a sleeveless robe over it in fabrics of deep purple and indigo and trimmed with silver thread. He waits patiently for her.* Ahh, better?
Gerti (17:12) Much. Thank you. *bows to again and keeps her averted looking at the floor*
Eolenth (17:14) *Lifts her chin with 2 fingers.* You don't need to keep your eyes down any longer, Gerti. You're above that now.
Gerti (17:15) If you say so sir. *meekly raises her head to meet his eyes*
Eolenth (17:17) *He smiles at her.* That's better and you can call me Eolenth. *He moves towards the door.* Come on, then, I'll show you around.
Gerti (17:18) Yes sir, Eolenth sir.
Eolenth (17:31) *He chuckles.* We'll work on that. *He takes her out into the hall, a torch lit stone cave tunnel; one of many linked together. But they were not alone. there were all kinds of sounds; people talking, the clanging of a smithy's hammer, laughter, the smell of food being cooked. The only thing really absent was the sound of children. He guides her through, showing her the common places that she ight want to go; places to eat, the place for healing, places where she could find crafted goods and so forth. Every once in a while guards could be seen patrolling in pairs. Most noticeably, when they approached people and they saw them, they quickly grew quiet. Whenthey greeted Gerti, they would bow to her or curtsey and referred to her as 'Lady' if they chose to speak to her directly.* What do you think?
Gerti (17:38) *simultaneously bristles at being called lau and starts to glow as though it was the most natural and least title she be called*
Eolenth (17:41) Lady Gerti. Is there anything else you'd like to see before your meeting?
Gerti (17:54) The whole world! *excitement barely contained in her voice*
Eolenth (17:58) That we will certainly get to, but not enough time I'm afraid for that. *He chuckles, amused.*
